I am delighted to share with you the report from our recent inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) Focused Compliance and Educational Quality Inspection Report (November 2022).
It gives me great pleasure to announce that we have been awarded the top grade of “Excellent” in all aspects of our educational provision and “compliant” in all regulatory aspects.
Amongst the many highlights within the report, it is evident that the inspectors were impressed by the children’s “extremely positive attitude to learning,” their “excellent” communication skills and their “self-confidence, self-esteem, self-discipline and resilience” throughout all years from Explorers to Year 6.
I am particularly proud that the dedication and enthusiasm of our talented teaching staff has been acknowledged. The inspectors highlighted our high levels of attainment in English, ICT and Mathematics throughout the report: “Pupils at all ages have excellent numeracy skills and apply these seamlessly to other subject areas.”
The School’s commitment to valuing the uniqueness of every child is also commended: “In response to the school’s encouragement to follow their interests and pursue their talents, pupils regularly achieve high levels of success in a wide range of non-academic activities and are successful in many sports and creative arts.”
I would like to thank all those who completed the parental questionnaire which helped the inspection team. This report is testament to the hard work of our wonderful St Mary’s pupils and staff. It is incredibly rewarding to have their contribution recognised and celebrated by the Inspectorate.
I do hope you enjoy reading the report which is linked here. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any further questions.
With best wishes,
Harriet Connor-Earl
