Carroll read Politics & Economics at the University of Bristol. She went on to qualify as a barrister and pursued a career in regulatory and banking law, in private practice and financial institutions, before establishing her own consultancy. Carroll has been Chair of Trustees since 2020. She attended St. Mary’s herself and still lives locally.
