Faith Hagerty

Faith began her schooling at St Anne’s Convent in Ealing in 1979, before graduating in 1996 with a degree in Drama, Film and Television from the University of Bristol.

Following two years as an Assistant Producer at a corporate production company in Soho, she enrolled on to the Post Graduate Diploma in Acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). After this, Faith spent four years as an actor and choreographer, before being invited to work with a Watford-based charity, directing children in a youth theatre project.

Faith began her teaching career as a Drama Teacher at St Augustine’s Priory. Within a year she was appointed Head of Drama, and over the next 14 years progressed to a number of Head of Year roles including Director of Sixth Form and eventually Deputy Head.

Most recently, Faith was Headteacher for three and a half years at More House School in Knightsbridge. She is now delighted to be building a consultancy business called The Acting Head, bringing her drama background and school leadership experience together to support schools. Faith lives with her three children in Ealing, West London.

Welcome to St Mary’s School, Hampstead

Our school strives to nurture an active partnership between home, school, parish, and the wider North London community. Situated in one of London’s most affluent and scenic areas, our school is an excellent choice for families in North London who want their daughters to receive a premier education in a safe, nurturing, and inspiring locale.

“Our St Mary’s Way is the spirit by which we live: to treat other people as you would like to be treated, to do your best to be your best, to be honest and truthful, to listen to each other, to be kind and helpful, to forgive, and to share.”

Charlotte Owen, Headmistress
Pope Francis 1936 - 2025

We give thanks for the life of Pope Francis, who faithfully led the Catholic Church in the spirit of servant leadership, humility, love, and with continual compassion for and alliance with the poor and marginalised.

‘The legacy he leaves is one we must seek to carry forward and strengthen’ – Cardinal Vincent Nichols

May he now rest in peace and rise in glory.
